Reyad Kassie is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Specializing in biotechnology and mathematics at the University of Waterloo, Reyad’s passion for delivering safe and effective drugs and medical devices stems from his father’s tenured career in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Throughout his career, Reyad has played pivotal roles in ensuring compliance with GxP practices in both sterile and non-sterile manufacturing facilities. His leadership has driven the successful execution of a diverse portfolio of projects for over 15 different biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies across North America and Europe, including but not limited to Novartis, Alcon, Sandoz, GSK and Sanofi Pasteur.

Reyad led the Sterilization Expert Groups for one of the largest engineering firms in North America and subsequently at Premier Validation Services for over 15 years, providing technical and strategic support for projects involving moist-heat and dry heat sterilizers, depyrogenation ovens, tunnels and washers, gamma radiation, chemical, vapor, bulk and SIP sterilization processes. His strong technical foundation stems from extensive hands-on experience and years of professional training under the guidance of industry-leading experts.

Beyond sterilization, Reyad’s expertise spans validation and quality assurance processes. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence have consistently delivered high-quality outcomes, earning the trust of clients and stakeholders alike. With a proven track record of representing clients in internal and external audits, Reyad is renowned for his ability to navigate regulatory requirements seamlessly, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
